ON could be forced to sell coal fired power plants in exchange for extended operations at their nuclear power plants, under proposals by the German Federal Antitrust Office. Firms pick windy Nevada for turbine plant

Mar 11 - United Press International - Two U.S. firms and one from China said Thursday they planned to build a 320,000-square-foot wind turbine manufacturing plant in Nevada. U.S. Renewable Energy Group, a private equity firm, along with A-Power Energy Generation Systems Ltd of Shenyang, Liaoning province, China, said they were working with American Nevada Co., a real estate development firm, to chose a site for the plant that would provide 1,000 manufacturing jobs, the Las Vegas Sun reported.
