Mark your calendars for May 22-23, 2012 in New York City at the Affinia Manhattan Hotel for an important event dealing with demand response for large customers. With the help and sponsorship of Con Edison, PLMA is organizing a program featuring a keynote talk by the Honorable Jon Wellinghoff, Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Commissioner Wellinghoff will be joined by Con Edison executives and other subject matter experts to discuss how demand response can be marketed and implemented in commercial and industrial markets. Regulatory issues will also be addressed.
A pre-conference workshop on May 21 dealing with implementation of DR programs in the C&I markets will be followed by two days of discussions about current issues, what works and what doesn't, the latest information about new DR technologies, and more. Vendors and developers of DR solutions will display their capabilities, and attendees will have the opportunity for one-on-one discussions.
