Giri Iyer is currently the Product Line Leader for Grid IQ™ Insight at GE Digital Energy, a $2.0B global business. His charter is to build a growing library of grid analytical applications and algorithms that help utility executives have real-time operational insight at their fingertips. His business is developing and commercializing a world-class real-time analytical system that combines a big data platform and 4D visualization technologies. Grid IQTM Insight will improve the efficiency and reliability of the grid while enabling better workforce productivity and help empowered customers make better choices in a cleaner society. In his previous roles at GE, Giri Iyer has led many award-winning initiatives in GE Healthcare IT and his own start-up businesses.

Giri Iyer has over 20 years of operational experience with Siemens, Philips, General Electric and Hewlett Packard. He has a Master's in International Management from Thunderbird, AZ and an Electrical Engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, India. He also has a strong interest in children's math education and loves to read, camp and run in his spare time.
