Andrew has both an Associates and a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute. Andrew has been with WVPA for 10 years and has worked extensively with the SCADA system there as an Electronic Field Engineer. As Smart Grid and Demand Response have gained importance within the industry, Andrew moved into his current position which manages these initiatives for WVPA.

Sachin Gupta
Product Manager
Demand Response Siemens Smart Grid Division

Mr. Gupta is focused on our market facing, demand response activities and is charged with developing and integrating demand side management capabilities into broader smart grid roadmaps for customers. Prior to joining Siemens, Mr. Gupta worked with demand response provider EnerNOC and before that he worked for Johnson Controls to secure energy based performance contracts. 
 
With the economy recovering and demand picking up in the United States as well as in other places around the globe, Siemens is aware of the central importance that demand management plays in achieving a smart grid vision. Siemens is aware of the importance that demand management must play to help utility and system operators effectively handle the intermittency of these resources.
