THE BACKGROUND
Cyber security is a huge issue in the smart grid and intelligent utility — and one that will not go away. The relationship between a smart grid and secure grid is as crucial to well being of individual communities as it is to the nation's security. The November/December issue of
Intelligent Utility magazine focuses on the continuing battle between cyber security
offense (like grid attackers and hackers) and defense (such as utility companies and security
groups).
