Kim Morris
Director of Architecture and Security
Public Service of New Mexico (PNM)
Kim Morris is Director, Architecture and leads the Enterprise Architecture and Information Security practices at PNM Resources, a holding company of energy and energy-related businesses based in Albuquerque, NM.

Ms. Morris has held senior IT management positions in energy, retail, finance and technology. With more than 17 years experience in Information Technology, she has established information security practices and compliance programs, architected global enterprise technology strategies and solutions, established IT operations for startup organizations and strategically outsourced operational services. 

She holds a B. A. in Business Information Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, is a graduate of the Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) sponsored by the Society for Information Management (SIM) and has pursued graduate studies at Amberton University. Kim is a member of EEI security committee, ISACA, the SIM Dallas Chapter and serves on the board of directors for CAEAP. 


Bart Thielbar
Senior Research Analyst
Sierra Energy Group, a Division of Energy Central
Bart Thielbar is a senior research analyst for Sierra Energy Group, the research and analysis division of Energy Central. Thielbar is also President of Itility Solutions, LLC, which he founded in early 2009. Itility provides executive advisory and consultative services regarding business process optimization and technology investments, including those related to the Smart Grid. Prior to forming Itility Solutions, LLC, Thielbar held various executive level positions, including serving as the Sr. Vice-President and CIO of NorthWestern Energy. 

Thielbar also is a former chair of the Edison Electric Institute's (EEI) and American Gas Association's (AGA) Technology Advisory Council (TAC). He holds his certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
